If you register yourself with the Texas comptroller and get a Texas farm exemption number you may be able to register the dump truck as a farm truck which will allow you full use of it within 150 miles of home.
I tried to do the correct and fully legal registration on a GMC C7000 dump truck...
That FMV registration has wording in it something to the effect that the vehicle is for parades and display and maintenance runs so as far as your dump truck do you think you can get away with running sand and gravel with it every day?

Well I do know that mid 90s chevy 8 lug wheels wont fit these 7k trailer hubs. The 7k trailer hubs have a larger center diameter so they are trying to make you have to use the trailer specific wheels.
