There is a company in mid Florida that makes tanks to order, kinda pricey. They also have some common templates that are reasonable. Company is called dura-cast I think. Bought several tanks from them for busses. They are right on SR27.
Have you replaced all fuel filters and primed them? Does the in tank pump work? Have you checked the rubber line in tank? Tell us what else you have done, that would help us diagnose.
Another thing would be to find out how long those tires sat flat, as that could do damage to the tires. Might think about replacing the two fronts. Just to be on the safe side.
Zout, looks almost like the reducer bushing on the deuce MC. Actually, it's NPT to flare I think?? Wouldn't have one of those around by chance? Just a thought.
Will do some checking, but some of the busses I work on have marker/turn lights on the sides of them. LED too, just don't know the voltage. Some have changed to 12VDC lighting since they went mostly LED, and installed EQs. The pigtails on said lights had 3 wires, ground, marker, and turn...
I have a vanner that I am going to mount on the back wall of my deuce under the passenger seat. Just three cables to the batt 24V +, batt -, and the center link between the batteries, which would be 12VDC.
Just thought I would give you the info, I work on busses for a living, and most are 24VDC, and have EQs to keep the batteries in line to run the 12VDC stuff. I have 11.00 Michelins on my deuce at present but am thinking of going the way you did. The 11.00s are getting hard to find.
You can get a battery equalizer that will keep up with those kind of amperages, Vanner makes some, as well as some other companies. Also, Pioneer used to make truck speakers that were removable and sounded pretty good too. Just a thought. Nice looking rig too, might hafta look into getting some...
There is another member in Kzoo, goes by Heath_h49008, he has a deuce. Also knows someone in Mi. that has some for sale, try PMing Heath. You do realize that a deuce has a top speed of 55 maybe with 11.00X20s right, less with stock 9.00s? Just wondering how much you have read up on them. Not...
