I didn't take the ac off I got a wrench on the back side

it was dead center of the key way

we were thinking that someone drove it on with the key way not exactly lined up even the thin splash guard was wallerd out

dont ask me but it came off a mulit I pulled it off myself

So my front end has been covered in oil... front oil seal no big deal (so I thought) tore down only to find this being the cause of my problem.......NOT GOOD lucky Hooty481 hooked me up with a new-to-me one and now I'm just sitting and waiting on the key to get here so I can get it back...

I put a peterbilt shifter boot in a Isuzu trooper and it worked fine so I'm sure the tilt column will fit just fine......
