    The ampibious Deuce!!

Its great to see, you using your duece to play in, and doing something that not many other trucks can handle soo easily. That said I am glad you are planning on going through the truck so that she gets the care she deserves as well. If you treat her like your trailer park princess, she will...

    Price?

Wreckerman is right. First you should consider what kind of load and where your going to be hauling and where. Pretty much anything on paved roads I would go with a civi tractor. If you look in the governments MV dictionary, you wont find a listing for the word "speed". It has a m35 cab, I...

    Yerf Dog help.

Thanks, I am going to pull the Carb out tonight, after my last inspection. The army does not make things simple as far as getting parts or tools right now. Every time I go somewhere I am told that everything is allready being shipped out. I am having to get extremley creative for fixing...

    Yerf Dog help.

We were given a YERF dog, from the guy who runs the gym here on base. The problem is, it wont run, the engine is backfiring and not even starting. I think it may be a choke problem, the choke was seized, and in the process of trying to loosed the handle loose the wire broke. This was good news...

What a Deuce is made for, Especially a bobbed one.

I miss the mud, had to miss the last FL rally and it was all sorts of wet and muddy, Now I am in Bagdad, with no mud again, and now no running vehicle. The moment I get my UAZ running, I am going to find a large water tank, and make myself a huge puddle (mess) to play in. On a side note the...

    ACU camo?

I dont care for the pattern. During our land nav classes in predeployment, the ACUs stood out as much if not more than our DCUs we were wearing in the woods. As far as vehicles go, SixSpeed, did a couple on photo shop of a 818, while it looks neat, in a much darker pattern, it still is a...

UAZ 469 parts and parts source needed in Iraq

Thanks, I talked to a local today, who runs a shop on base he said that he will have one of his Mechanics in town get me the parts I need. My memory card is not loading onto my computer, so I wont be able to post any pics until tomorrow at the earliest. I did get the flat taken care of and...
