I've got contact info for Dewey's distributor and they will sell to the public. All they require is a purchase order and a credit card. I made an order last week.
I hope it's ok to post their info? If not please let me know.

Only time mine has pumped is when the generator was running. So I haven't actually heard any clicking.
Have you ran the generator? When i got both of mine the upper fuel tank was full of rusty sediment. The injection pumps were also gummed up and had to be cleaned.
Mine run steady until the running tank fills up. I had an issued with one of mine and I took the pump apart and it was gummed up. After cleaning it worked good.
Those pumps have a RF capacitor on them. It might be going bad, you can remove it and the pump will still work,
Does anyone know what effect the 120\240 split modification has on the load meter.
Reason I ask is I get no load meter movement on one leg when putting on a 1650 watt load but I do get load meter movement when I put another load of the same wattage. Am I to understand it only gets a reading off...
When I built gas engines I put the rings in the cylinder to check gap. Make sure its square in the bore when you check the gap. Check the gap at the top of the cylinder and bottom, use the tightest one to set gap. I used an upside down piston to get the rings square in the bore.
That's a good question about it having a reaction. I've just been poking the end of a shop rag in the opening soaking up the oil. It's a minimal amount in there.
