Wow! Nice work! What everyone says is true. You do work fast! I wish I had the ability to do it like that! Ah well. I'm always working on projects that need my truck's help.
I can vouch for Kenny's decals, tape and such. The tape works wonders. The decals look like they belong in the truck without a doubt. He's got a really nice set-up! I need to save up some ca$h to get my truck in proper order.
Wallew,
You're better off looking elsewhere! She's seen her better days. I can see if you did get it you would be spending way more on repairs than you would ever want to in your worst nightmare. Remember, they are a USED car salesman. They only care about your money and nothing else.
I figured it would only be a matter of time before our in-house turbo expert posted here. Folks, this man does turbos for a living. He definitely knows the ins and outs (sorry for the intended pun) of turbos. If there was anyone to ask Ken is THE man to ask. He'll stay with a job until it's...
Yeah, but you definitely set the standard by which we judge ourselves by far! 'Storm doesn't measure up but give me enough time and she might come close someday.
As you can see from AJG's pics there isn't much room for the bumperettes for any major swing. Jacknifing is really easy to do if you don't pay attention.
I know the experience! I just went through that with Kenny. We've e-mailed each other and called and talked like long lost cousins. Only from a family oriented board could two people get together like this!
If you look in the last pic. you can see one bolt is shorter than the others because of the air line being in the way. Actually getting the nuts and bolts on was the easy part. Drilling the holes with a sleeveless shirt and getting burns from the shards was the difficult part.
I see Kenny didn't waste any time using the space vacated by the travel trailer! Thanks so much for the help! It looks like you've got enough projects going to keep you out of trouble for a little while.
Bjorn,
These are the bolts included in the kit. I was pushed for time. As soon as I can get it done I'm replacing them with grade 8s. BP, the lights were Kenny's idea. They worked well.
