So I did as you instructed and here are my findings/ The front screw on the regulator labeled 35 comes from the Alternator excite and it performed what it was suppose to. It had battery voltage of 26.9 and turned on and off with engine/ The rear screw labeled 10 I see that it goes to a socket I...
This is a 3 fold question
1/ I am having difficulty locating the test procedure for this regulator and I am asking if any one has it and would like to share.
2/ They seem to be quite pricey and before I purchase one are they any for sale within the group new preferably and what kind of price do...
Hey y'all, I have a Fire Department that is wanting to add the availability of air pressure to a hose to fill tires or whatever. I know that this sounds simple but I thought that first I would run it by because I know somewhere out there someone has an incredible idea and needs to share it with...
Thanks for the input but I went to EBay and looked at the instructions and I don't see that this would fit my needs unless the seal was designed to shield a ball bearing type application. I guess I don't know on what or how these are applied to the torque arms. If anyone has an explanation I...
Yes you did post that earlier, I just now know that I was looking at the whole card and not just a segment. And just a question for clarification, do I need to disconnect everything from the card for the test?
Yes, that indeed has possibilities. They come greasable also. So in my ignorance what is the difference between a Johnie Joint and a Heim Joint? Does anyone posses the center to center measurement on those torque arms? thank you
Gentlemen:
Frustration is kinda settling in and looking for the test of the A5 card hasn't been found. I don't seem to have the correct name for it. I went through the Card section for repair and diagnostics and couldn't even find a box that resembled what it is located in. I am asking for more...
Seems like the solution is finding the best price right now. What have you got for a solution??? I'm listening!
My problem is I'm at the beginning of Brush Fire season and Annual Preventive Maintenance and as long as they don't fall off the truck isn't coming out of service! But great...
So I have returned with the report/ After pulling said box I opened up the compartment and found how nice sized a modern day ECM is but with the box open you have the possibilities of repairing itself. I have attached 2 pictures of the A5 Card and I am asking if the R3 resistor would prevent the...
I am finding as I get older that it is expedient to humble yourself and claim ignorance rather than repair and find out how this stuff is really assembled. On these torque arms I notice that the ends are constructed differently than the M35/ The M35's the Bushing get pushed out and that takes...
When you say the A27 Box where do I look in the manual for the explanation to the A27 Box? Is there a drawing show =ing where the A27 Box location/ Any recommendations on who to contact for a float?
There were 2 floats on it/ and with s2 in run, the s7 in the up position, the CB1 pushed in there was no voltage what soever at the J33 plug that goes into the Floats
So here is what happened with that test
Holding the J33 in your hand, stick in the first paper clip into the A&B pins of J33. This should turn on the pumps, if the wire harness is good between the J33 and the pumps. Then place the second second paper clip into the C&D pins. This is the idot...
That information on the fuel system is great! First off the handle was in the wrong position. I followed the procedure you outlined so well and I did not get fuel/ The pumps never turned on/ So I dropped the strainer bowl and removed the strainer (now in your procedure you said to removed the...
