My first 932a2 has a tan painted 8.3 with a Dresser Industries 2008 tag on it also, I guess if I can find out if the engine has a block casting date code on it then would be able to tell if the engine was remanufactured by dresser in 2008 or what the deal is.
If the gaskets don't fix it and it is grenaded ....

Apparently it is a standard feature requested by the Army, both mine do it. Im thinking both front wheels are several pounds out of balance.
When I get some time im going to rig up some kind of a wheel spindle on a hydraulic lift stand to try and do a static balance on a wheel tire assembly...
