    I think the test Will is talking about is the little strips that are availible at all truck supply places and some auto part supply stores. I thought we allways called them DCA test strips. they do have a shelf life so watch the date on the bottle (or box).

    Trouble is i cant decide what truck to put it on and i only have one that is 24 volt.

    Chances are its the size of the tire. my Hemmit wheels with 1600 20's rubbed on the fender support on the right side and the pittman arm on the left side. from what i could tell there was not an easy way to fix the problem other than dump the 16's.

    air pressure from an external source

    This is what the front glad hands on these units are for. left side supplys air and the right side applies the brakes remotely. used this way for towing but if you want to only supply air to the system just hook up the supply side. unless i mis read your post this is what you want to do.

    The air dryer set ups that i see are not used with the alcohol systems. it seems they use one or the other. these are civi units . I do have one 24 volt mil spec airdryer but no time to install it yet. I to use the old fashion way of putting some airgaurd in the wet tank and calling it good...

    I wonder why they mounted that one upside down? Is it hyd drive? I can see what looks like a gear reduction box mounted on the driven end of the garwood. looks like they rolled the thing over and flipped the drive around.
