    Ron, very lucky on the tires. and definatly not a bad price. as much as i use things, i really did'nt want to wear out hard to find tires when a member here sold me these. this truck is heavy and without a power divider---well you know what happens.

    the M270A1 has 1100 R20's. Plans are to use it as often as possible! build ramps for loading vehicles and whatever else i can think of. no 2 Diesel- Yes i still have the rear fenders. the 1600's were temp as i could not find tires and wanted to use it.     No the ramps did not come with the trailer .Data Plate says M270A1. the tires on the M819 are the goodyear radial. they are current issue. The spare tire that we were wrestleing with on the road was one of the 1200x20s. Still lighter than the 1600's! the 16's looked cool, went thru sand and...

    Ron, I wondered what that hoop was for! I dont like the boom and all just bouncing around when traveling. I dont think the last owner ever used the supports and it kinda shows.

    Backing a trailer with a dolly will give you chances to expand your normal vocabulary.

    Tire changing problem....

    porkchop is the way to go if you have one. about $15.00 at carquest or they are availible at most truck tire joints. keep in mind that you need the square drive socket to use the porkchop. the combo sockets will not work.

    They look good. 2" shorter than the 14's would make a good combonation. a little more road speed than the 1100's but not completely kill the power.

    If your concerned you can dump the air so the t case dose'nt engage the front axel. or pop one of the front drive flange's off.

    Looking for the water pump gasket for the cummins. any sources out there? having trouble locally finding these. they look like a copper ring about 4-5" in diameter aprox 1/4" wide. I hated to mess with the pump for this reason but i Put new belts on the M819 the other day and the water...
