If you live in a disaster zone, then a 400 amp alternator is an 1000 watt generator. A generator and an additional sine wave power inverter are great ideas to keep the house running. 75 amps of power for the fridge and the HVAC.
1) FIX THE DAMNED SHORT! TIE DOWN THE BATTERIES! PURCHASE A PLASTIC BATTERY BOX!!!!!
2) Get rid of the 400 Amp unless you live in a flood zone. Get. 200 Amp conversion setup.
3) FIX THE FOUNDATION BEFORE YOU WORK ON THE ROOF! FIX THE SHORT!!!!!!!!
Your HMMWV is amazing, but I'm a simple man.
Since I rebuilt my PCB and started teaching others how to do it, I have no IC's and no CM's in my FMV. Makes me happy.
YMMV
short sleeves are over rated. Send us some pics when you’re back in your speedo. 😱🤢🤮
High fifties last week. 40’s now. I love global warming. Looking for my beachfront house in NYC to become the new Miami.

I believe papakb has...
Papa. I read the fine print… This unit is NOT continuous use as our rigs might need more than 125 amps on a continuing basis.
Maybe CamO would know more.
I have some old KDS smartbox relays. Let me know if you want or need them. I would just rebuild the unit with the plans I posted, but if you wanna do you I might have the relay you need. PM me if you want that route.
I think the major disconnect here is the fact that Humvees look cool, but they are meant for the military. The military formations run at 40 mph. They are not looking for high speed unless you get one of the rare vehicles with a Rod Hall suspension and drivetrain. Even then, pulling a horse...
Mogman is correct. Tough love BUT you should have been able to spot this prior to pulling the diff cover.
We all just want you to be safe and happy.
Now check the hubs for leaks and looseness.
