Not quite a HMMWV BUT 1995 Hummer is the 12V version. Same power train.
My 1995 has a Whipple and water injection. Swapped out the PO’s POS 38”x14”wide tires with 24 bolt with 37x12” standard tires just like the vehicle was sold with.
Drives great. Super happy. This is why I painted those tan...
Hummer H1 has driven his rig with zero issues for over 300,000 miles on former military tires. He swears by them.
Guy drives icy Winter conditions and drives to Death Valley in the Summer at 129 degrees. Same tires.
PM him for his perspective.
I’m not a fan, of tan.
Rims were dirty as heck from storage. Washed with water and a scotch pad. Chamois dry and then prep work.

I recently also built six twelve foot planters using 12'x12"x2" beams and galvanized bolts. They will be filled with 8 yards of soil tomorrow.
I went to get plants. It was great to be in the old girl. Started out fun... Then the...
This was just shear brilliance. Henry Rollins, driving a Humvee over moguls and bumps with SteveO onboard getting a tattoo. Every time I see it I laugh. A cinematic gem.
(I apologize if I have posted this previously. )
Three speed means OLD. That is great!!! That means you can claim it’s a 1991 and insure as a 30 year old classic and save $$$ and avoid many exhaust requirements.
HMMWV starters are water tight. That also means that dust and carbon that are generated cannot escape, and eventually clog these units and require rebuilds.
I don’t understood your business model. I think you will lose your shirt.
Unless you crowdfund this, I think it’s a bad idea. And once you get sued for providing a vehicle beneath the purchaser’s expectations and once you get sued for selling a vehicle that is involved in occupant’s bodily...
