Marine Corps 34052 Behr Paint Codes

You should be able to go to the paint store and have them look up 'competitive paint', find the FSS (Federal Supply Service) listing then put in the '34052' FSS paint code and they can mix it. Because there are so many different mixing machines, and versions of the software the codes on one...

UNKNOWN Motorcycle I.D.? and other questions? (Now ID'd at KLR250)

USMC gets a lot of stuff that never has a dataplate, or govt info provisions. Army has data plates made for the experimental vehicles (IE., XM-???) before deciding whether to purchase or not. Then, there are 'special units' that get whatever equipment they need at the time.

Questions about best route to escape Oregon right before Thanksgiving:

From the Phoenix area, going south and picking up I-10 will get you out of snow from there east through the southern Rockies. Then switch onto I-20 where it joins I-10 and head toward Dallas. I've been that route in January and only saw snow on the distant peaks.

    Found an old Motors Manual

Check with patracy as to where they should be posted. Copyright used to run for 28 years after publication, but that was extended some decades back, and I don't remember when (and haven't looked it up). However, anything that was past it's expiration date was still expired. So 59 + 28 = 1987...

Questions about best route to escape Oregon right before Thanksgiving:

Not familiar with northern California, but have driven I-10 to I-8 into San Diego in January. No snow and the slopes were easy - there is a train line running parallel with I-10, just to the north about half a mile. Because of the wildfires in Cali. that route might have some other dangers...

    Weight badge numbers chart???

When you hit 26,000 you get into CDL territory. It is in your best interest to keep the gross weight UNDER 26,000 pounds for licensing purposes! Unless you ALREADY have a CDL and plan on keeping it! Even then it can get expensive quickly.

    Weight badge numbers chart???

Are you trying to come up with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating for registration purposes? If so, and your state has 'weighted plates' (the greater the GVWR, the higher the cost of the plate), you need to think carefully. First what is the empty weight of the vehicle, second what is the maximum...

    SC m35 insurance and tagging

But you were not in SC when you got pulled over, and the police in other states do not necessarily know the laws of other states, they have enough of a job keeping their own laws straight.

    Amg m35a2

Daniel, could you come up to Columbia one Wednesday afternoon/evening (not with the deuce) and we can show you a few things about the deuces that will help you with your machine. There are seven deuces at our club compound right now, and Kip is working on his.

    SC m35 insurance and tagging

No clue. You will have to contact DMV.

    SC m35 insurance and tagging

IN SC you will be getting a 'property carrying' tag that depends on the maximum weight declared for the truck. A deuce with a declared maximum cargo of 3,000 pounds will cost about $109 a year for the tag, if you go for the max value on-road, you would be talking about a GVW of about 24,000...

Official 2020 Georgia Military Vehicle Rally buy-sell-trade thread

Tan vinyl, six vent roof, and the two aluminum grills on the other two burner stations actually go in the top of the ovens when baking (where the square head pans are sitting) to sit proofing sheet pans of bread products before they are baked. While the correct transformer is not cheap, there...

M1 Searchlight Trailer, G221, info and restoration to 'usable'

We did some DUKW ones (they were brass) by spray painting the whole thing with black paint, then using 600 grit sand paper to lightly touch where the lettering was to remove the dried paint. You need to do a little part at a time or you will need to repaint some of the background. Once done a...

    Read SS offline??

Have not tried with the current software, but in the previous version, you could 'print' a thread, about 400 posts at a time (no pictures) and then copy and paste into a document (.rtf) and save that. Tedious, and I only did it for one thread. The big problem is keeping all the threads 'up to...

    Stupidity at its Finest

It's been at least 8 years since I read the thread, and I've read thousands of threads on SteelSoldiers since then. I can't point you to a specific thread, I just know it exists. I'm pretty sure the videos were on you-tube.
