Used the dump a couple weeks ago, today i load her up, and the dump actuator (next to the driver's seat) will not move to the rear position to engage. Truck is between low and high range, in neutral per instructions...
Got under the truck... pulled the cable end off, cable runs...
I'd really like to pick up a spare 8V92TA for the Mk48/15a1, but most of the ones coming out of GL are HEMTT.
Do we know if that engine will work? I know I've been told there are slight differences...

I'm not sure... its an incredible grade. I'd imagine riding the brakes all the way! The Conqueror did kill a couple trucks, and she was in three pieces!

Well as promised... details of the latest armor move. Point of disclosure, this move is coming from Jacques Littlefield's collection, which sat on top of a mountain, requiring the trucks and load to move through narrow residential streets. So its not a picnic from the start.

Yes, we bought the Leopard 1a1a4, the Swiss Pz. 61, and a BTR-70...
the two tanks are stilling scheduling the overwide and overweight transport...

BiffJ and I decided to do some Spring lawn redecorating on Saturday... so come along on a T-72M1 High Speed ride along... we were able to get her 40km + and still needed more room for the final gear...

Pulled the cut breech ring off the rear deck last night, and lifted and set the high intensity spotlight and put her back in place!

I use mine all the time... I too bought it out of Jacksonville, and mine was literally new... 66 miles. It had a Mk14 flatbed on it, but I later purchased an excellent Mk15a1 trailer (did have to redo all the hydraulic lines) but she earns her keep.
