    Nope, if you aren't a member, you can't see pics. I waited for a couple of months to be approved, and couldn't see pics the whole time. Was thinking of making some of the shutdown lock things.

    bad axle vent

    As has been said, you won't know till you clear the vent and drive it some. When the oil heats up, the pressure has to go somewhere, if the vent is plugged, the seals will be where the pressure vents.

    Have one Cobra 29LTD classic and a 148GTL as well. Both are great radios in their own way, the 148 has SSB uppers and lowers, the 29 does not. LOL, still have the old Cobra base station that Dad gave me when I left home 100 years ago. :driver:

    Are there any Marinas around you? A good boat canvas shop should be able to help out. If not call a local upholstery shop, not many do that stuff but you might luck out. Okay, after I saw where you were the marina idea is prolly out.

    Might have the brakes done by June, this shop move is killing me. Jess, my grandkids couldn't get over how good Nick? was in the front of the 5 ton. What a trip. We had a blast and WILL be back.

    Make it worth your while, add wear and tear, fuel, your time, etc.....just sayin. Diesel went up 9 cents a gallon here yesterday, make sure you allow for how many takes they want to make too.
