Nice jeep by the way.
So it would be ok if I bring a m101a2 up to the top of the sides with wood?
My dad heats his business with wood. We have two stoves to feed so there is plenty of wood. We will have some left over each spring and if I can I'll bring that.
Is the thread for next year up?
Thanks
Today I changed the oil in the front differential. The cover didn't even have a gasket on it just lots of silicone rubber. After i got the oil out I cleaned up the cover a little. It didn't have any chunks of metal on the magnet or anything.
I put permetex on the cover, then the correct gasket...

This is my truck with completly stcok guts.
This is my second pull. The first time I pulled I went 209 ft.
I didn't break anything. I believe the 6.2 is ok.
Lift shackles
Hello all its time for another installment.
The truck did not have any shackles on it when I got it. The front mounts where still in the truck but the rear mounts where removed when the flat bed was installed.
So I had looked on eBay and take off shackels or nos ones where...
I hear you about the heater. Losing the heater was kind of a draw back for me until I discovered these https://utahbiodieselsupply.com/fuelfilterheater.php
I have yet to buy on but I'm sure I will one day. Also eBay has some nice ones.
I will edit my post with this info.
The truck started running like a turd, it would loose prime in less then a hr of sitting and was dripping a little fuel. So instead of plugging the hole I just replaced the unit with a spin on. I really liked the old box filters but I didn't wasn't to worry...
Hello.
Is this the filter ensembly you are talking about?
If it is I don't see why you couldn't use it. It seems like a decent standalone cartridge filter. I see no reason it would not work but I have never had a 6.5 filter base in my hands I just read a little about it.
If it was me I would...
On the wipers I would unhook thr noise suppressors. They are the round things about the size of a vieane sausage on the wires right before the pluges go in the wiper motor. You just unplug the wiper motor then unplug the noise suppressor harness. It's like a small extension cord. Then just plug...
Look out I think our new member has taken a fancy to ya.
Or is the "love" part a typo?
Please don't shoot me I'm just playing.
I am glad I'm safe behind my phone screen because I don't think I can take you both at the same time.
Hehe.
Welcome again 67djlocust.
If you are ever in my AO stop...
Is the filter base a stock one?
If it is try bypassing it just to make sure its not something with the filter head.
Then work up to the expensive stuff.
I almost changed my IP and a spin on filter solved my issue.
It might be a dirty fuel tank. The sloshing from moving causes stuff to get on the sock and restrict fuel flow. Then when the engine dies or you shut it down the stuff falls off the sock and fuel flow is ok again.
When did you last change the fuel filter?
