Im going to give one of these a try SS598T starter solenoid for a 97 ford f350 7.3 diesel $7.78 at rockauto. Im thinking if it will start a 445 cubic inch ford it should work for us.

I think that stud-eyelet thing is a misprint. The application data all says 69-87 K10-K30. For $6 ea im gonna see what shows up. I ordered for my 1028 and they also had them on sale for my later chevy trucks.

Anybody have pics where the hitch mounts to the frame and what kind of reinforcing plates and crossmembers are used? Commercial or homemade please.

If you dont mind waiting a little while for the sealant to set some you dont need a gasket. Just use permatex ultra black sealant. I let mine sit for the afternoon and set up before I refill the fluid. Dave
