Bob,
Understand, I'm going NUTS with my degree. Your previous post I read with interpreting way too much into what you said. However, I'm finding humor in most anything now (I'm in survival mode).
Elwenil,
I gues our boss is a bit upset with our ribbing each other. That exhaust could really hurt, especially the pipe going into the muffler! It's got a nasty little hook to the left on it. In other words, ducking won't help (darn the luck!).
Ok, SORRY with a cherry on top. Better?
Kenny,
I pride myself in the fact I draw blood, namely my own, on working on them. That's why I much prefer MVs. They're a potpourri of makers manufacturing to the same specs.. Too bad the civy stuff isn't the same. Plus I can draw blood much easier with heavier parts! Heck, it's a wonder...
Trango,
Um, er, by reading what you wrote, are you saying you have varying degrees of momentary lapses of reasoning? "I would never ever do something that stupid on a truck". Do I dare ask what you would do? [:)] [^]   :turn:
Again,
I'll concur upto the Lee Iacocca era and the bailout of '83. From that point on parts prices and availability went way beyond the ordinary means of the average guy :shakehead: . In the old days Mopar was THE way to go [thumbzup] . Now it's a rich man's car [:(!] . Buying the whole...
Chris,
Wow, by your discription it sounds like you're ready to go back on Saturday for another round! I'll see ya there!  :banghead:
You could do it if the bearings turn. However, I would not trust a Goat bearing lasting the trip after sitting in mud for 20+ years. That's why we used a trailer. See if you could borrow one. It's well worth using.
Bjorn,
You'll need to let me know when you want to get the second one real soon! I'm headed back to Texas on the 24th. I'll be back here about the 12th or early on the 13th of July until about the 16th or 17th. Let me know how I can help!
Come one, come all!!! My presentation is at Oakland City University in the building just north of the School of Education building. I'll be in room 120A or 120B beginnig at 1250 on the 20th. Y'all are more than welcome! Bring the MVs! Believe me I can use all the moral support I can get...
Me? No. Everything is original on the switch. This is a modification to the dash lights that are almost imposible to see at night. I reused the wire going to the dash light on the right to power up the exterior light over the gauges.
