Ok lets discuss known factual info on the specs of the C/D turbos in here.
I want to know the following
Compressor MM size
Turbine MM size
Compressor A/R housing size
Turbine A/R housing size
Downpipe flange OD/ID
Compressor Map
Drove it off road Sunday
3rd gear I can do 2450 RPM, 4th and 5th gear it is 2200-2300 Max. Re bleed fuel liine prior to this trip as well. Gonna inspect it today and see if any lines are kinked and if the pedal stop is an issue. I did notice the truck will now do 41 mph in 4th gear when...
I have repeatedly stated I want to find the info on the details of the turbochargers, simply saying is bigger then enough doesnt cut it for me. That is relevant to the differences in the motors and cannot be ignored.
Turbos simply move air and you need a certain amount of fuel to meet the proper fuel ratio in response which makes power. Upping the fuel rail pressure and upping the boost equal more power. Now the factory turbo might be close to out of steam. Need those stats. What mm is the turbine and...
Boost will make more air which allows more fuel to be burned. Knowing the exact lb/min of airflow at a given PR will let us be able to plot if the turbos are maxed out to begin with or not. I have a hunch that a T54E would probably make one of these trucks scream. Also upgrading the fuel lines...
What is the stock vs stock boost difference. The fact the lds runs a larger turbo should indicate the power difference alone.
Any one have specs on the turbos or a compressor island maps?
I'm reading the tm that was linked. But unless that was Posted how would I know which tm to read. **** some have 1500 pages. It's nice to know that some people are more focused on helping a member rather then if they spent time using the search button which guess what I did.
