You will love AK. We can trade stories over the campfire at the Ga Rally. If you can at all, drive some of the Dalton, and look for the Northern Lights.
Had a blast. THe M814 ran great, and I had fun. Coming home, going thru Wagner, I had a couple of old ladies salute me as I rumbled thru town at 20 MPH. I always get looks in the Long Easy.....
Get a piece of coat hanger wire, and make a small L on one end, so that the "L" will fit onto the bore. Push, rotate, pull, until nothing else comes out. Then clean with WD40, and chase the threads with a tap.
WEAR EYE PROTECTION...........
The Long Easy is basically ready to go- just check the fluids, kick the tires, add two batteries, and away we go. If I have time, I will do the dual feed mod, but I don't think it will happen this trip.
The M37 is another story- It needs a steam bath, and then a complete brake job- lines...
God that looks good. I just purchased an M37 that worked for the City of Hampton Roads in VA. Between the salt air, sand, and the stuff the city hauled in the bed, my bed looks like swiss cheese. I will have to come up with something- I want troop seats also.
And Wreckerman would still be trying to talk his way out of a huge fine and tow bill. Can't have doubles any longer than 2 28', except on the Fla turnpike on the east coast.
