Need to purchase a ball joint fork. It looks like a giant two prong meat fork that you insert the ball joint into. You then proceed to hit the other end with a small sledge hammer, and boom, ball joint is loose. They also make ones that fit into a small hand held air hammer...

If your engine is in good tune, then 2 batteries should be good down to about 25ºf. Any lower, and you will need extreme measures to get her started. I got the M814 started at 29ºf this winter, without the intake heater and primer. She didn't like it, but she did start.

It's funny, when I take the M814 to a rally, all my friends insist on trying to fill the cargo bed with stuff. They have not filled it up yet.
Make a good tire "FORK". This is a tool that has a long handle, and two arms that cradle the tire. It allows you to lift, move, and set the tire on the axle.
In the picture, it is the object in front of the axle with the single rim on the axle. It is about 5' long, with just enough fork to fit...

I found a M37 on gov.deals, that was located in the next county over. Since I already have a nice M37, and Ferro was handy, I talked him into bidding on this one. It was a wild ride, but Ferro finally won the auction.
We were supposed to go together on Friday to retrieve the M37 from it's...
I will take some pics of the work next time I am at Ferro's FOB. Right now the work is to get brakes, then lights. All of the brake lines are badly rusted, and would bust with the pressure of of a soft fart. So far I have the back half off, and just have the front half to go. :mrgreen:
