A wire fed FCAW flux cored arc welder is probably the best in terms of value and quality of the weld for a beginner. You can always add a gas hose and change the wire type later and make it a MIG. Stick welding on body work isn't recomended as it is easy to warp and burn through. Eastwood...
There is a skid steer for sale by me that I'm considering purchasing but I'm not familiar with this brand of machine. I have many hours in the seats of Gehls and Bobcats, but until today I never saw a Thomas. I think they're manufactured in Maine or New Brunswick Oh Canada. Its a T170 model...
YES SIR!!! :o MY THIRD GENERAL ORDER IS TO WALK MY POST FROM FLANK TO FLANK AND TAKE NO SHIT FROM ANY RANK!!! SIR!!! :o
I only start out in second when empty and in a straight line. Any type of turn from a start or load and I use 1st. I respect your advice and experience.
My 3053A is somewhat difficult to put in 2nd gear from a standing start. I have to push forward on the stick and bring the clutch up half way and it will engage. Worn syncro rings are probably the culprit.
Nice load Stretch!! I envy your dump conversion. I really need to start on one. It takes my Bro and I 15 min. to shovel and sweep 5cu. yds. by hand. Whew! Here is a pic of one of my many sand loads. My bed lowered exactly 2". No scale but the OM says 16,200lbs. for moist sand. The link to...
Nice trip and Pics! You should drive your truck in the Baja 1000 or the Rolex 24hr race at Daytona :P Slow and steady. Its fun backing up traffic no matter where you live.
My point was that a residential electrician should not be expected to know much beyond wiring a three way switch :P and thought your department would benefit contacting a more qualified person. I apologize NEIOWA for sounding haughty and cavalier. I take no offense for the drone comment...
That chassis a' twistin. eeeeeeee :o It looks like the front axle is just along for the ride. It doesn't look like it's engaged. That is pretty neat though.
I must be very spoiled then:wink:. I suggest befriending an IBEW Union electrician because things like phases, motor control, switch gear, generators, transformers, voltage etc. are child's play to them regardless of whether they're MIL or Civi. I will speak my bro (he is one) and ask his...

I wouldn't search any website by vehicle model. First determine what engine and transmission combination your going to run. Choose parts for that engine/tranny. Vehicle model is only important when choosing exhaust headers, etc.

I suggest purchasing parts from Summit Racing or Jeg's. You can get everything you need in one catalog and both are priced similarly. As far as engine swapping; go to www.advanceadapters.com It sounds like a very fair price if...
Totally Dawsome :o You could drill holes in so many things... People's heads etc. It sounds like a long day. Don't get hit with the sleepies behind the wheel. Hope everything works out.
I like the dark green paint. What color is it?
I'm jealous of the driveway and hate the manicured landscaping. My driveway now is RCA. It’s strong but not pretty. I'm saving up for those concrete steel reinforced waffle pavers. They are cool because you don't have to worry about drainage...
Hey Maddawg!! Come to Rausch Creek PA in Oct. It's closer and has greater topographical, geological, and geographical diversity :D . Sorry for interrupting the thread.
