Hey all,
Thought you might like some video I threw together from the T-55AM2 running around yesterday...
I included some specs and info... this is a general overview, not totally applicable in all marks, but good for the general understanding of this incredible tank... great fun!
Enjoy!
Anybody ever use a build service for a large scale model? If so did it go well? There are a lot of guys advertising this on ebay for instance. I just to be into scale models big time, but have a lot of other full scale models that demand attention. I'd like to have some scale models made to...
Formula
Great thread...
If you get the formula can you post it please? I have a BTR-40 IDF used that will need the same color... thanks in advance!
If you also find any info on a second brown used in a two color scheme I'd love to see pics of it too...
Good luck on your project... can't...
Fine?
If you haven't been fined, or served a violation notice, then their complaints are probably going no where. I agree with several others, make sure you keep your eyes on potential motions to make your trucks illegal in the limits. LOTS of RV owners work up and found their city councils...
Interior needed
Hey all,
Should you need RV interiors or other RV stuff let me know... I am the owner of the Midwest's largest RV dealership... 3 locations... so I might be able to get interior components for you from the manufacturers...
Just an .02 for help, not a plug.
Rumor
There was a rumor awhile back that Uncle Sam asked each of the big three for X amount of 3/4 and 1 ton pickups to evaluated against the non armored humvee... I remember reading about it in Motor Trend... Not sure if it went anywhere, but a followup said that Ford would be selling their...
War material
If it is military / war material, it needs a form 6, even if its just to be safe. It was originally used by the Bundeswehr so it would most likely count.
Sorry, but its really not all that bad to complete the Form 6.
Lowes
I'm going to run to Lowes today and review their stock of Dremel tools... and the moto tool recommended as well. The sanding discs are what I was thinking too, I had used a dremel wire wheel on another project and it lasted about 5 minutes...
I'll get some pics up too... thanks all.
Thanks!
I appreciate the info... the sand in strategic areas will really help quite a bit. The floor paint should add to durability as well... I'll see if I can't find a tintable floor paint around here... thanks!
Thanks
We'll try that site, we've tried a few in the past but with poor results. We've been told that the military terms do not translate well, as they are fairly specialized... most we've found on the other sites just come back with no translation.
We have not tried the one you supplied...
Great ideas
All fantastic ideas....
I will take a few pics tomorrow of the areas and type of issues we are needing to address... I'll also take a look at the mini scaler and the Dewalt... We really have to attack this rust issue in armor... here in Indiana the rapid temp changes cause a lot of...
Thanks!
Thanks SteveKuhn...
I wasn't aware that you can have the floor paint custom color matched... is that possible? I think the sand idea is a very good one. The vehicles did not have this originally, but it would make them safer and much easier to maintain the high wear areas... I'll...
