GMTK AND SGMTK where are they all?

I used to buy a couple of GMTK from govliq and gave them to friends and veterans i knew would need them. I kept one box for myself and meticulous maintained it. I got rid of a lot of my tools and since i moved to SC, it became a staple and i use it every day. Last Friday, after working late on...

Strange CTIS issue - could use some input

Hooah !!! Apology accepted. Its more wasteful to send an ECU back and forth in the mail, than it is to buy a new one and be done with it. I seriously meant what i said without any sacrasm behind it. I dont know you, so I would have no reason to be nasty. Especially not online. Great job on...

Huh? I dont even know where this attitude comes from. I was writing about an experience i had with a person who sent me his ECU. You described how you bought a couple of ECU a d that fixed your issue. There was no sarcasm or anything on my behalve. So chill the attitude, youre in a public place...

Strange CTIS issue - could use some input

Or instead of using a diagnostic laptop one could buy a bunch of ECU until one finally works. Well done.

Strange CTIS issue - could use some input

Someone with the same issue sent me their ECU and i had tested it on my FMTV. Turned out my laptop could not connect to it and that it was faulty. He replaced the ECU and it worked like a charm. rear brakes stuck... what a paint

I managed to get the brakes unstuck by caging the brakes with the bolts I had , then banging on the lip of the brake shoe with a chisel and BFH. , then going to the next air chamber and doing the same. Until I got all brakes to release. I then put the caging bolts back on the one wheel with the...

rear brakes stuck... what a paint

After a few days of having the truck in storage and after pressure washing the truck I was going to take it on a trip to the gas station. Come to find out that the M1089 doesn't want to go. Brakes are seized. So I whip out the wrench to gat the caging bolts. But guess what. they are rusted and...

    LMTV CTIS Question

I can change all those things with the laptop, including the timing for reading the tire pressure. what I'm saying is that, if I know what the ECU goes in, I can make changes accordingly with my truck and diagnostic laptop. It's easy peasy.

I am looking for a replacement for one of the membranes. Did you guys find a source? Or did you make one yourself? Edit: here is what I have done, I bought some product called Flex tape, I doubled it and made a new membrane out of it. Lets see how it works out.

    LMTV CTIS Question

To illustrate it I changed the tire pressure from 81.0 to 74.0 and confirmed it. The program writes it to the ECU, which then lowers the pressure. It stays programmed even if I unplug the CTIS and only changes when I change the value with the Dana diagnostic program. in other words if you have...

    LMTV CTIS Question

It allows me to set the target tire pressure for each mode and stores it in the ECU until changed . It also lets me set the over speed speed and set it to memory

Well, I done did it. Won a m1078. Need to get it home... In Wahington - any suggesti

The Early LMTV are rusting like crazy- no corrosion protection until 97. Matter of fact. That and the resulting delay is the reason S&S lost the contract. These truck cabs looked like Swiss cheese already at the Sealey Plant and had holes while they were waiting to be installed on the trucks.

    LMTV CTIS Question

It's at 204 number. But it doesn't matter what my part number is. if you have a CTIS ECU with codes you can send it to me, I can read and erase the codes.

    LMTV CTIS Question

My truck is a M1089a1 and the tire pressure is 81psi. The normal lmtv highway tire pressure is a lot less. I can set the tire pressure for the ECU with my DANA diagnostic software, also the over speed - speed.
