Really slick idea for a mount, but I would be concerned about the added stress it will put on the thin sheet metal brace that is inside the door at the top. I have had these fail from the weight of stock mirrors alone as they have aged. Good luck!!
I have never seen this thread either. I saw some of these for sale about when this was first posted I'm guessing. Anyways they were complete military versions in really nice cases that had never been used. I purchased one because it looked like a good deal for the farm. It came when I was really...
How full is your diesel tank? When it is really low it is harder to prime the entire fuel system. Sounds like you have a common problem of no start with both pumps. You still have air in the lines some where I bet. If there is no air in the system I would check glow plugs next. Good luck.
I do! I have a few NOS, still in the foam packed cardboard box, that I would sell for $125 plus shipping. These boxes are approx. 75" long by 36" wide x 12" deep and weigh approx. 69 lbs. I haven't shipped one of these yet to know the best way to ship. My zip code is 73660. Thanks!

I would check the positive cable that fastens to the starter solenoid and make sure it is tight. Then check all cables on all the buss bar connections. Look really close at the cables for a bad spot(green or corroded spot) also.
Power Service is acceptable additive. It is readily available at most truck stops and stores. It is not as good as Opti-Lube as shown in independent tests but it is more available. A lot of truckers wouldn't use anything else.
Injection pumps went down in every industry because of the lack of lubrication in ULSD. Yet oil companies and fuel suppliers would swear their diesel was safe to use. Several companies would not warranty injection systems on new machinery if a quality diesel additive was not used for lubrication...
What you have to watch out for is not let biodiesel set too long in your tank without running on a regular basis. If it sets too long it will draw moisture and cause corrosion. I ask an authorized diesel shop what they thought of biodiesel after it came out and was shown an injector pump that...
