isn't there check valves? seems to me i remember someone talking about the checks failing. then when they tried to remove them for repair they cracked. seems like they were made out of aluminum and deteriorated. then again i could be all wet as this was a while ago :lol:
we raised the fuel pressure on my 250 and it runs the exhaust temp way up. no trouble to get it to 1200 ! i think the lack of piston squirters is mostly to blame.

XM818 W/WINCH-- as high as 8 MPG Bobtail and as low as 4.5 MPH pulling the road train. this is after the fuel was turned up and pyro installed. 11.00 NDT's.
the rear yoke that i used needed a small amount of modifieing on the ears to clear the case. after the grinding i had it rebalenced. the yokes are much meatier than the stock ones. not that i needed them to be its just what i needed to use to fit the id of the tube that is availible. i had stock...

Took the truck apart today to replace the rear main seal, and there isn't a retainer like the manual says there should be!! Any ideas?!

any tricks to lean out these gas burners? i have one that i cant seem to get lean enough to keep the plugs from fouling. reset the float and tried the mixture adjustment screws. i dont really plan on using this thing much just want it to run if needed.
