I don't think most of us are complaining about the government aspect of the processing time. We are mad that govplanet seems to sit on these things for weeks/months before they even submit to the government.
Yep, that is exactly what she said. I didn't say anything other than okay thanks but I am sure they hear from others who are less understanding on a daily basis. I paid them ~$1,500 in auction fees and $50 extra for the SF97. It is absurd that it takes them so long to even submit the paperwork...
I just called and got ahold of someone helpful for once. She said my SF97 submission paperwork has been printed and should go out in the next "batch" to the Marines which should be this Friday. Very dumb but that's how they do it. It's even more crazy that it's not all electronic submission...
I suspect people see the low milage on the odometer and lose their damn minds. Even though the milage on the odometer means nothing. My truck shows 10,000 miles and if I didn't know better, I'd say it probably only has a few hundred on it. Going by milage is definitely not the right way to...
Oh my goodness who would pay that much? I got a newer M1152 with a turbocharger and air conditioning for less than half of what this one sold for. Absolutely insane.
Okay, I'll try to get to the EUC department because I keep just getting the post-sale customer care department. Only two people working EUC when they sell so many trucks explains a lot...
When you guys are calling, they are telling you what date the SF97 was physically submitted for processing? I picked up my truck a month ago and I have called a few times over the last two weeks because there still is no SF97 status on the govplanet website. They just tell me it's "on their...
Agreed that ~$1,800 is still pretty reasonable for the whole kit as long as the top material and construction is decent enough to last a few years in the sun and elements. I was interested in their doors too but they only have CGI images of them so that wasn't very confidence inspiring. I may...
I emailed Midwest asking where the tops come from and they got back to me right away. They just said they have them manufactured for them since the OEM went out of business.
I need to convert my 2 man truck to a 4 man and it seems like Midwest has the kit I need to make that happen for a somewhat reasonable price. If I had to guess, the fact it says "replacement" in the product description leads me to believe this isn't an OEM supplied part like some of the other...
There is a simulator they make anyone deploying to the middle east go through where you get in a HMMWV mounted on a rig that spins it 180 degrees so its upside down and you have to unbuckle your belt, fall to the roof (now floor), find the only door that is unlocked and climb out all while...
Correct! That's why I never suspected that the valves weren't installed. I figured there was at least enough refrigerant to kick the compressor on. I only figured out what was going on AFTER I removed the manifold gauge connections after filling the system with r134a. That's when it all exploded...
It does engage and disengage with the switch so the clutch is working. But yes, it would run even with no pressure in the system. It does blow nice cold air. Around 20 psi low side and 110 high side with 65 degree ambient temps.
