From what I hear it can be a job. Note/disclaimer: I have never rebuilt a head I'm just going off some info from my dad, uncle, Cuz, who have all been around and built engines for a long time, a few reputatable machanics, and a Chilton book.

A rebuild is like an engine rebuild. Just smaller. You take off the heads pull the glow plugs, injectors, valves, valve springs, the whole nine yards. Then you can have the heads magnafluxed for cracks, faced and valve seats ground and polished, either replace all the valves or have the ground...

    Tie down your batteries.

Heck I'll share a minor one. I've got an old cj5 jeep I play around off road with, and when I put deep cycle batt in since the one that was one was dead for some reason, the bungee cord didn't fit around it. So some paracord and I'm back in business. Well I drive this old jeep hard sometimes...

    R.I.P.--ELKHUNTER--Walt Johnson

I guess the Lord needed another helper. May he be with his family in their time of need. He moves in mysterious ways but he has a plan. I never had the privilege to meet or have a conversation with him but he sounds like a great man. RIP Walt.

Bypass the filter. Just make sure there isn't any crud in the jug of fuel. That's what I would do.
