It will run, sure. It will move fuel, sure.
Is it a good idea? No.
While the IP can move that much fuel, it is very hard on it. Result= early IP failure.
Imagine a loaded train with two locomotives. Now turn one locomotive off- would you claim that because the train can still move all is...
Plus the wideband deviation- any commercial stations will have very low audio on his end and he will sound very bad on the commercial rigs set up for narrower deviation.
Definitly have to agree here.
The ONLY way to legally operate these radios is with a ham license in the 6m ham band. Even if you could get an FCC license for a low band buisness frequency, the miitary radios are not FCC type accepted and not legal for use on those frequencies.
If the Army didn't have me at Ft McCoy I would be there with a big load of goodies to sell. But getting paid to drive and fix trucks has it's good points too...
If anyone needs plates stamped with a professional looking stamp, I have several vintage Graphotype machines and would be glad to do it. I can only fit smaller plates, and there are some other limitations, but at worst I would just send your plates back and say they won't fit.
I have been...
Tell him you want it cold when you arrive. Whenever I go check on a diesel and it is nice and warm I get suspect about how easily it starts.
Check for "ether tracks" on the intake where they have sprayed ether in, it will look just like if you sprayed brake cleaner on and it dried without being...
Those are standard HMMWV 37x12.50 tires on 16.5 inch HMMWV rims, the exact same you will find on the trucks.
I may have one tire/wheel combo for sale if you need it.
To muddy the waters a bit, there was also the M116A2E2, an A2 with an offset axle and HMMWV wheels/tires as well as fender...
I have seen it a few times. The chain breaks or jumps off the gear, and then bunches up between the gear and the case and somethings gotta give. At 70mph the spinning gear will blow the case out really fast when the chain wedges between it and the gear.
I will be coming from Ft McCoy to Asheville NC late next month. I won't have much time to detour off the route, but if it is close to my route I can get it at least to NC.

It is a naturally aspirated 6.5L set up for the serpantine belt drive found on M998A2's
The GEP 6.5's are the best of the best of the 6.2/6.5 family. The blocks are cast by Navistar for them.
If that one was closer I would be all over it.
I have a 6.5 with cylinder wall damage and a bent exhaust valve that says they sure can get down to areas where they can cause problems.
That said, an easy way is to find someone with small fingers, get some of the tackiest, stickiest grease you can find, dab some on the finger, put your...
I remember clearly as a young PFC being tasked to replace a data plate that had become faded and banged up because the commander wanted it to be readable. I stamped the numbers by hand to match, noticed the new one said AM General and the old one Kaiser-Jeep, ask my Motor Sergeant, he said go...
That looks a lot like one injector was providing more fuel than the rest, leading to an overfueling that led to an overheaded cylinder. usually when I see that however the other cylinders will at least show some signs of overheating.
Now, why just one injector? I don't know. Do the part...
All those CUCvVs are parts trucks. 10 years ago he moved a ton of CUCV's, and those are what is left over that he still sells parts from.
There was a time when he would have 5-10 running CUCv's ready to sell most any day, construction guys loved them. But these days everybody wants a big super...
