    5 Ton 4x4 Conversion

Geez, 25thID, that truck is too good to get hacked up, but, I do have a nice 14 foot dropside available for you, see you at Sussex, JT. I really liked the picture of that truck on a previous post, it was exactly what I have been planning, now I know it's like being a copy cat, but heck...

    5 Ton 4x4 Conversion

What if you got rid of the spare tire and wimpy gantry and exhaust pipe and used a 12 foot deuce bed? The troop racks and cargo cover would still work and I think it would look good overall. rear axle centered in rear third of deuce bed. balanced appearance, great load capacity , shorter...

    5 Ton 4x4 Conversion

I was wondering, if a person was going to build a 5 Ton 4x4 from a 923 what would people like to see for bed length and wheel base, this has been on my mind for a while. The 5 ton has so much load capacity, seems a shame to use a 105 trailer box on it when we could have a longer body with maybe...

    Head Gasket?

Also, pull the air inlet line off the turbo and check the turbo shaft for play, you may have lost the turbo seal and bearings, it will push oil through the engine and out the slobber tube right over the front pumpkin and move it all over the place. I've been there. JT

    ABERDEEN 2012 ( Only 192 days away)

Suggestions Wanted! Your Input Is Welcome!

By having moved Bug Out Plans to the messhall as the administrator wisely did, it takes it out of the public eye as far as non-member lurkers are concerned. I think that is a good idea, could say alot more but to keep it concise, some of the info posted on that thread has been very interesting...

The LDT thermostat opens fully at 180 degrees, unless you have a heater that was installed in a good motorpool, in which case the thermostat opens fully at 195 degrees. I run an LDS in an M35A2 which has a pyrometer and is turned up way big and it will run up to 210 degrees on a hot day if I'm...
