    Bogie maintenance

Can't find anything on here of the TMs about this (only the part breakdown) Seems to have a fill plug so I'm guessing oil filled till comes out the hole? Any other ideas?

Who's running dynamic tire balancing beads?

That introduces the variable of evaporation of the water though.

Who's running dynamic tire balancing beads?

I was looking into this a bit, ethelyene glycol is not a great choice as it's freezing point is relatively high (would freeze in my WI weather ). Propylene glycol has a much lower freeze point. Also it's non toxic.

    A1R Rear Cab Bushing Assembly

Ahha! Now the other references about PPE, skull thickness make sense . Glad he is okay though, squashed grape is no good. :)

    Found my wiring issue

So I bought the truck and had some really strange wires going to the taillights, one for right turn, one for reverse. See the wire and black wires here: (also notice the black wire seems to be holding the trans cooler line  The blue circle is where the trans line was rubbing on the bolt...

    Rubber parts for alignment rods

Anyone have a source for these? My google-fu is failing me in finding a replacement for the rubber boots.

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

I've seen some info on how to program the CTIS on YouTube and that equipment and software seems fairly easy to source. For the CAT ECM reprogramming, can that be done without having a subscription? Programming cables available?

    M1087 Aquired

Looks like Midwest military equipment painted it and is selling on their site for a nice chunk of change.

    Rattle on steady state driving

Not with any precise quantitative method. All hubs warm and consistent with eachother to touch

    WI M1096 MTV

I have both with USAA, but it didn't seem like it would have mattered if I just had one type. It seemed like it just mattered that I was a member.

    WI M1096 MTV

Tried the Progressive route "commercial vehicle for personal use" but they said they couldn't insure it. Mentioned if I had USAA then they might be able to. Talked to a USAA/Progressive agent (I have a USAA account) and they were able to push through the insurance with Progressive. Comprehensive...

    Rattle on steady state driving

Yep, got that all measured out. I may get a laser scanner and do the whole truck so I can have accurate dimensions for the CAD work. Plan on fully designing it on the computer as that's what I do for my work. If I do that, I'll make sure to make the files available.

    Rattle on steady state driving

    Likely in my future.

    Rattle on steady state driving

Was from MWME, unsure if hubs were checked. Going over the truck some things are checked, other things a bit lacking in maintenance.

    Rattle on steady state driving

Driveshaft phasing is good, although can't be sure of proper of proper balancing.

    Rattle on steady state driving

New to the FMTV, never driven one before so I don't have a good baseline. Truck is 2007 A1R m1096 with 1800 miles. When on the highway when maintaining 50-55 I have what sounds like gear lash noise. Goes away completely on accel/decel. Do these trucks tend to make some noise from the hub gears...

    Expedition engine?

Any way you could take a picture of this? I'm working on something similar and trying to work out the best path forward. I looked on your YouTube page and didn't see anything that reference this. Funny enough I found out I actually watched some of your videos about 10 years ago on a Kel-Tec RFB :)
