I dont think you understand what I said. That wire completely and utterly burned up. What I taped was where it had melted into parts of the other wiring (24 volt wire) ect. I taped those just to get me home safely. My plan is to replaced what needs to be replaced. It didnt look as bad after...
Well this year has not exactly been stellar for me and today was the icing on the cake. We sold my New Truck and picked up the wife a used Jeep to help on the Bills side of things. I told her I would keep my M1028 as my daily driver. She has been great for sure. Today after picking up a...
I found some images with a google search. At first the transmission and transfercase both looked to be one unit. Then after a bit more searching and reading I found an article that said they each use separate types of oil. So it looks like two separate units but not sure if there separate as...
I like the idea of the 6.5 turbo and a TH400 trans. Both would eliminate a huge weak point of the Ferret here in the US. I do not like the current select 5 speed. The B60 engine is also very expensive to repair as all parts need to be sourced from England from what I understand. That and the...
Ranger Bob. You said they were PERTY . Anyway I wouldn't piss them off to much. You remember what happened to the last guy that did. He aint been seen in these here woods since! No siree. Not hide nor hair. :shrugs:
And my sisters would take a real dislike to anyone who thinks they...

The 700R4 is pretty much the perfect trans for our CUCVs. They do need to be upgraded a bit but none the less are still the best for our trucks. Just keep in mind even the best to dollar build would only see a safe tow load of 8,000 lbs. What you have described should handle 5,000 to 6,000...
Injectors can range from "about" $45 to $85 each. I would suspect a set of rebuilt ones would be fine but do not know for sure. Someone else with more knowledge about Injectors should help you out.
I wouldn't buy S.H.I.T. from YUKON / Randy's Ring and Pinion (same crappy company). They DO NOT STAND BEHIND THERE PRODUCTS. And if they made brakes they wouldn't stand in front of there products either. You can find Corporate 14 bolts all day long at ANY junk yard. Finding one will be...
