You make some good points. I think I will disconnect my batteries if I do any welding - just to be safe. Like I asked Mullaney above, what about components that have internal batteries that keep memory alive when the primary power source is disconnected? 🤷🏻

I would not want to take a chance. I’m curious if you know if any of the electronic stuff (ECM, etc) have internal batteries to store memory and keep the component “active” even when batteries are disconnected?

Received the Chelsea PTO wiring kit. Their PTO switch does not match up size wise with the option panel blank slots. I eye-balled the switch and the blank slot cover and it looked like it would work - so I took a blank slot cover and trimmed the ID to slid over the switch. TA-da.

This picture didn’t make it in the previous post. It shows how far out the u-joints are from being in phase.

Has any work been done to it lately? My instinct is to blame the brakes. Warped rotor? Stuck caliper piston? Stuck pad? E-brake not fully disengaging?
