    CUCV Drink Holder Ideas?

That looks great. I saw that in a different thread. Great pics and it shows the ammo can probably will not work after all. Too skinny for a standard 7-11 soda cup. I don’t drink them often but would like to have a place for it when I do. One could definitely build something off the base...

    CUCV Drink Holder Ideas?

Something a little more low key is what I’m looking for. I don’t want the focus and prominent feature of the interior to be cup holders. Thats the dilemma. I will probably cut down a .30 cal ammo can, remove 24v fan and install on the fire extinguisher bracket.

    CUCV Drink Holder Ideas?

I mentioned these earlier in the thread. Short of a cup of coffee or a standard soda can, how do they hold up? Do they hold a large soda styrofoam cup without issue?

Pics are worth a thousand words.

    Cold weather and no start.

X2 Battery's are low and need charged. That pic shows nothing. Your voltmeter should show the status of the battery’s.

    M923A2 CTIS Problem

I got tired of spending money on new parts and still chasing issues. Finally threw in towel and installed Shrader valves in the wheel stems. All manual now but no more ctis airing down tires, etc. Will keep system installed and intact for future use.

    CUCV Drink Holder Ideas?

Saw those when I searched. Don’t have a plate on the Dash like that and would like something a little less “in your face” as far as aesthetics go. The others are for the bucket seats, which I don’t have in a M1008A1. The one for the 5 ton wouldn’t be bad, but no place to really place it like...

    CUCV Drink Holder Ideas?

I have a 24v fan mounted there. I’ve seen the drink holder that fits the ash tray slot but don’t know how they are in actual use with something bigger than a coffee cup.

    CUCV Drink Holder Ideas?

I have the stock bench seat. That wouldn’t work. If I was driving a M1009, I would do a center console.

    CUCV Drink Holder Ideas?

I would like to see some ideas and solutions you guys have come up with to hold a drink without spilling. This is for a M1008A1 I know I could do a center console with cup holders and sit it on the seat, but don’t want to lose that space. Either store bought or hand made or something cool...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Changed engine oil and filter Trans spin-on filter also. Will do fuel filters this weekend when they arrive in the mail. Air dryer cartridge also.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Installed new winter front. Cold here today and it does make a difference with engine and cab heater temps.

    M1028 Gen 1 Issue

A picture is worth a thousand words. Post one of the wire. Sounds like it’s correct, but given these trucks past life, who knows.

weird no start issue (fuel related)

Hopefully it won’t be another 4 months before you answer.

    Gen 2 issues

Belts are very easy to replace yourself. Now you know why most guys here do the work themselves.

That rules out sensor. I lubed mine and it didn’t make a difference. Installed new one. Problem solved.

    Hi idle doesnt kick down

ACDELCO still makes them and the one I bought last year was made in the USA. Could also be your temp sensor.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

That is the exact reason why I had a brand new (not rebuilt) Starter on the shelf in my shop. Have a brand new alternator too, along with quite a few other new spare parts. I might still have to walk if it quits, but won’t have to wait for parts. Edit I usually buy my parts online, unless I...
