While searching NSNs, I ran across this PS magazine article, about muffler mounting hardware. TM 9-6115-639-13&P dated 30 APRIL 2010 correctly reflects the change.
You would be better off in my opinion to use an VPN to tunnel back to your router. Many routers support it out of the box, you don't want some random person accessing your generator. just my 2 cents on it
How does you battery hold up in that weather? Mine Barely had the capacity to turn the engine over around -17 C, also might be the fact I'm using two UPS batteries for it 18AH in series.
My 831a was jelled up on Monday when I lost power at 3am. Barely wanted to turn over and ran for a few minutes and died, from lack of fuel. It being 3am my 531a is way too loud for me to want to run, I went back to bed figuring power might be restored in a few hours. Woke up and still no power...
Ya I have seen this a few times, are the muffler mounting bolts missing or lose? If those are missing or lose the metal will fatigue and break, I usually make it a point to check the muffler in detail before I run mine.
Might want to take a look at your valve lashing, then valve seals if it persist. Looks like what mine was doing when it had low compression.
Here's is a video of what mine was doing. It did the same thing as yours, ran for awhile then next day it would no start.
Hello all,
Today I broke my third Nason SM-2B-15F oil pressure switch. All the switches end up leaking where the plastic mates up with the brass end. Has anyone else had their switches die on the regular?
I would go with the same one thats on the MEP-802a, Mep803a. They are available through a few suppliers. Search "DATCON OIL PRESSURE TRANSMITTER PART NUMBER 02504" The one listed on eBay looks like a good deal. Hope this helps.
Part numbers for the oil pressure sending unit.Part number...
Try putting a wanted ad in Parts Wanted section. I have seen Ebay every one in a while have one. Might want to see if anything else is missing and functional before too, might be a reason someone pulled the A8 frequency converter.
