hmmm, i highly doubt a little arc is going to fry the gen end. its something else. other than the simple things like breakers, etc its hard for me to give advice on the electrical side of things without it in front of me. maybe some of the other guys will chime in happy birthday!

the droop adjustment is the star adjuster on the governor arm, where the spring hooks to. if you turn the star adjuster so the spring is lowered on the arm you will get less droop under load. its kinda the opposite of what you would think. if you read the manual its a bit vague in how its worded...

i used 34 series in mine. they are the biggest ones i could get that would fit in the stock tray.

Haha of course. He had me out there for moral support the very next morning. Me must have run it 10 times that day just to hear it go! He is getting it set up in his shop now with the exhaust plumbed through the wall. Nice running unit for sure.

i have been running my kubota off hho for 5-6 years now and the generators as well. no issues and the kubota is new and requires ultra low sulpher. whole reason i went with a diesel gen is because i always have plenty of fuel around. i dont want to be hunting down gasoline in the middle of a storm.

yeah just use a 1/8" drill bit in the hole. you really dont have to flow time the pump. the pump came off your own gen that you know was running good. the timing itself cant change.
