I found a pair of hinges in my spare parts parts trove, send me your address in a private message and I’ll send them to you.

Used to be a common feature on fire trucks. There are several options available that will automatically disconnect either when the vehicle starts or when it starts to move. You might check any fire apparatus supply house for parts and methods of installation. Stop by a couple of local fire...
Consider this: Contact one of your local HVAC guys, they often upgrade heat pump systems for customers that require new air handlers to accommodate the newer larger coils. Let them take the coil for scrap and volunteer to take the rest of the old air handler ( I have been known to drop off a...
You should be able to go to your local interstate battery distribution center and ask for a couple “blemish” g31 batteries or reconditioned batteries. I have used Columbus and Circleville successfully. Total cost for 2 batteries is usually 75-100 dollars.

I just checked the big auction site. Type “military slave cable adapter”. There are some available. I have one in each of my trucks, I don’t think I have ever paid more than $10.00 each.
Sorry meant to send it to the OP.

I have had pretty good luck repairing a few of them. I usually remove the levers and place the switch in a vice between small blocks of wood with slight pressure. Remove the snapping from the back and separate the halves. Clean everything up inside real good. I usually coat everything with...
I bought boots and connectors from Vintage Wiring of Maine. I think they gave me a good price for the parts. They also sell the old style wire if that is what you want. I picked up the correct crimping tool at a local flea market for 8 bucks. I pulled the bed but left everything else on the...

In my experience the contacts inside the switch are known to corrode. If you look closely, you should see a snap ring that locks the two halves together. You can remove the 3 levers then remove the lock ring, separate the halves and clean everything up. I usually apply dielectric grease to...
Sorry to hear that. When I got mine Mona was 6-8 weeks behind, Dave was less than 2 weeks and he brought it to a local show to save me shipping. Maybe with the summer shows starting up and the MVPA show in Ohio this year he will get some inventory ready soon.

You might check with some of your local car dealerships. They use local transporters to deliver between dealers. I had a car shipped from Cleveland to Chillicothe for about 150.00. They might have someone with room on a delivery truck.

A quick search on eBay past sales shows a complete nice looking unit sold for 39.95. If you had to add much for shipping you would be around the 50.00 price tag. Neat display piece but probably "all the money " as they say.

I have also heard the ultralight crowd has a replacement carburetor without the restrictor plate for both the 4A032 and the 4A084 that works well and increases available horsepower.

I have seen NOS engines for almost the cost of the conversion kits. I bought some used carbs at a swap meet last year but they turned out to be pretty bad inside. I've meet some folks who claim they know of interchange parts but I have had no luck getting part numbers. I guess the search...
