Saturn still has the carbs listed on the website and had some when I called and got gaskets earlier in the summer. I guess if the are out of stock, I waited a little too long.

Do you have a source for carb rebuild parts? I have one that really needs rebuilt, cleaning did not do the trick. I have been able to find replacement carburetors for sale but other than gaskets, no rebuild parts.

You should have something similar to this attached to each bow corner: http://www.tnjmurray.com/militaryvehicles/index.cfm?shop/product/id/24FA52F3-084D-191E-A8F8531406CFD1F9
The strap then goes through the fastener on the outside of the canvas when you have the sides rolled up.

Do you know if docfarmal sold his m37 tires and rims? He had three but wanted to sell them together, I could use one and if your buddy wanted one we might be able to deal on the third if they are still available.

The label says 50 ft. I picked it up with a surplus lot about 3 years ago and have held on to it like all my other treasures thinking I would find a use for it someday. I could probably be convinced to part with it. I'll send you a pm with a phone number if you want.

Try e- mail, Dave is pretty good at replying. He might be loading out for one of the shows this week-end. I have placed e- mail orders with good success. You can check the part numbers and price from the web site: http://www.odcloth.com/products.html

Make sure you think through the process with your head and not your heart. If your head tells you to proceed, you will find a way. You might be able to process the loan with the electric installation a part of the package, most banks will require a licensed contractor to complete the work...
Great exhibits this year, terrific vendors, unbelievable selection of pieces and parts, fantastic deals found throughout the venue. I think my money went twice as far which means I wound up with twice the treasures. The wife's car will be sagging a bit on the trip home tomorrow. The overall...
I keep a few ounces in a tightly sealed plastic bottle for touch-up. It serves my purpose well throughout the season. Looks fine to me, but I would not use it on a "show" truck, the color varies a little over time I think because the xylene separates and maybe manages to evaporate a little. I...
I found the log book in my M-37 buried in a pile of oily saw dust under the seat. It would appear that the FD that had it stored a small chain saw and perhaps two cycle oil under the seat. The sawdust appeared to be chain saw chips. Inside the pocket of the vinyl binder is a type written copy...
I don't know if it will help, but mine has a temperamental carb as well. Worse when the engine is hot. I have found that when starting it I can't touch the throttle. With the engine cold I pull the choke and push the starter button. If I touch the throttle before it starts it will flood...
Don't give up. I found mine at a u-pick for $35.00. A little weld and a big hammer before some paint produced a not perfect but very serviceable tailgate. My truck is not a showpiece, but a nice example and fun driver.
