I just went and started it, and found a major hemorrhage of motor oil coming from the oil canisters. Guess my new seals must have shifted or went bad.. crummie. -

It had a gummed up IP. I replaced it, and changed the oil in the motor and the trans. She runs just fine in neutral. I put some marvel mystery oil in it and that helped alot. -

I think I may just drive it for a little while. She's running better and better every time. Still can't get her above 20mph yet. slow progress is better than no progress. -

I changed the motor oil, and flushed the trans yesterday. I feel accomplished. The trans only had a half quart of oil. Glad i checked.. -

Next is to bleed the brakes, and hopefully the master cylinder isn't bad. -

I put the doner IP in today. With a little help from a good friend, the truck fored right up and purred like a kitten. This is the first time she has ran since 1984. -

I don't own the hmmwv's, but i do own the M35A. Most of the motors are at my disposal if needed. -

I got the M35A as partial payment for doing work on other vehicles. -

Pretty much. I work part time for a military museum. We restore aircraft and ground vehicles. Thats why i have all these motors at my disposal. I normally work on m998's. Hmmwv. -

At the moment it's not running. I have 7 crate motors that i robbed an injection pump off of. Hopefully she'll be purring this sunday after the install is complete. I'll take pics of the install. -

Two days ago I replaced the original soft top bows with a hard top from a doner truck. Also a n.o.s. back piece with a new slider window.:-P:-P -
M35a2 injector return line fittings
That is very helpful. I just aquired an m35a1. Im still not sure of the year. I am trying to get it running after 10 years of sitting. It will definately need this done as well.
