Thanks for the idea! I actually have an air (& exhaust) snorkel I got as put of an all or nothing deal for other parts I needed and never installed it for the same fear you have that I wont be able to my mirrors or like it. I most likely will never drive in more than three feet of water ever.
I wont help at all, I asked on my first truck. Its just a matter of processing paperwork. Realistically you are looking at 16 weeks for it to clear and then a week or two for delivery if you are going to hire a shipper. Good news is if you buy another truck you are looking at 3-4 weeks for...
I haven't seen a winter in the truck yet. What can I expect? Hows the heater (in cab) typically? Ease of starting? Anyone use an engine coolant heater? Are the winterization kits worth the crazy expense? All feedback welcome!

1 Unscrew the existing switch and pull it off
2 Reach under the dash and pull out the rest of it
3 pull off the wires and connect the wires on the new switch (gromets label what wires are which)
4 drill the hole...
I went on Amazon and ordered one for $99 to fit an H1. It not perfect but does the job the side mirrors need to be folded in since the H1 have the mirrors that mount to the doors.
Maybe there is something in the Technical Manuals on how to get the paint to shine. After all the military is very good at getting boots to shine..........Here's your sign...:naner:
What are people doing for backup lights if anything? I'd like to be able to go into reverse in less than ideal lighting conditions. Looking around for ideas.
