Just happened again with an M1009 out of Crane... Maybe it's Crane...

My experience was not scientific, but in the past couple of days EVERY CUCV I've clicked on in the GL web ad on SS has come up with the notice "This Lot Removed by Sales Administrator." 1009s, 1008s, 1010, 1028... weird.

Yes. I went through a very similar scenario chronicled here on SS recently. I can't speak to the connection between the work you did and problems you're having, but I can tell you my problem was ultimately a flakey GP controller card. Weird wait light behavior and a chattering relay... I did not...

For the record. The new Wellman 070s did not work to any degree in my converted 12v. The Wellman 050s are fabulous...

For an intact, unconverted, original 24v CUCV, yes, those are correct. You're good. A few sources on ebay. They all seem to be about the same price. Yes, they are in fact rated at 12 volts as in theory, the big resistors on the back of the firewall reduce the 24v to power the gp's. In reality...

Now I'm completely lost... How in the world could converting to 12v require a change in pulley size? For the record. I have two M1009s. Both converted to 12v. Neither has had the pulleys altered in any way. Both charge exactly as before. BTW, Bunkerbuilder, LOVE your avatar...
