The newer trucks are more work to maintain then the older M35A2. The older truck is much simpler. THe difference really comes down to what you plan to do with it. They all have differnet uses.

amazon has a voltage converter that will take 24 volts to 12 volts. They are relatively cheap and you don't have to go through 120 volts.

Ok the answer is N4246 but an N4004 can be used. you need a 400 volt 1 amp diode.
