Hi All,
I have a 1986 M1009 and have had this problem only twice since I bought it in the last 3 months. The first time I was driving my CUCV and stopped for less than 5 minutes. When I came out and turned the ignition key the glow plugs did their thing like normal. But when I tried to engage...
Thanks all that replied. I really like the ammo can one but cucvrus yours looks easier to install. Like your seats too. I have to fix the right front brace on my passenger seat. It's not attached to the frame right and you get a really big lean backwards in it.
Hi All,
Something to remember if you have installed LED lights. If there ever were to be a major solar flair or a EMP those would be fried just like all other electronics. Just throwing that out there for you.
OK back to my M1009. LOL I have found some camo prints I can do myself on Amazon. Has anyone tried it and and how'd it work out?
I want to do my rear window that does have the hand crank and can lower the window and the rear side windows.
Thanks
Hi All,
I have a M1009 and am looking to tint the back side and rear windows with green Camouflage see through material. Wondered who has done it and if they have any recommendations on it. Also when they bought it from.
Thanks
I'll just stay with the diesel you buy from the gas stations and the additive that the previous owner was using.
I am thinking about trying some of the different types of fuel alternatives. ie vegetable oil and the like. I know that's a different topic but wondered what you all thought about...
Thanks all. Don't think I'll do it from all the comments. I'll just keep using Power Service 1080-06 +Cetane Boost Diesel Fuel Supplement Anti-Freezer that the owners of it before was using. 1 oz of it per 3 gallons of fuel.
I'm looking to add some type of a console between the driver and passenger seat and wondered if some of you have done that and what it looked like. Any pictures or where you bought one would be great.
Thanks
