Hi all,
Hoping for some advise from some experts on here. I have not used the 4 wheel drive in over a year. Last time it worked fine but now when I locked the front hubs in they lock in OK but the front tires are definitely not working. I got into a wet area and the back tires were spinning but...
Thanks. When you say solid at the rib points in the roof you mean this marked area right? I'm thinking about mounting my spare tire up there for now?
Thanks and Merry Christmas to you also!!
Hi All, I'm looking to purchase this on Amazon, ARKSEN 64" Universal Black Roof Rack Cargo with Extension Car Top Luggage Holder Carrier Basket SUV, but am looking for suggestions to mount it. My thought is to use stainless steel you bolts and some aluminum 1/8" thick 1 " wide bars inside the...
Hi this is my second winter with my M1009 in Indianapolis. Last winter I drove it everyday so I used the block heater daily. Now I might only be driving it once or twice a month. Just wondered what others thought about not running the block heater unless I know I'm going to drive it the next...
I've had my M1009 for a year now. No starting problems even in the dead of winter in Indiana. I'm sure Block heater helps that.
Here's my question. I've read you should replace the fuel filter every 2 years. Not sure when it was replaced last but have been told the Doc that had it in Lafayette...
The leak is at the back of the truck. With the metal plate on it's hard to tell exactly. My first thought is to get the metal plate off and see what I can see.
Thanks for all the replies too.
Hi All,
I've read some of the forums about this but wanted to ask the community these questions.
My 1986 M1009 didn't do this when I bought it a year ago but now after playing around 4 wheeling it has started. Wanted some opinions.
1. After my truck sits a day or 2 I get a very small wet spot...
Howdy everyone. My son , Magicman, took me 4 wheeling at Badlands in Attica IN for Fathers Day. He has a M1009 also. We had a blast. Have some awesome video of water coming over the hood of my M1009 2 different time. She's like a Timex she took a licking and keeps on ticking. They had nothing we...
Hi Everyone,
I'm looking to add a HAM radio to my truck. Mine doesn't have the antenna bracket on either side. Does anyone know where I can buy one?
thanks

Mine has worked since I got it last October. Then one day while driving down the road it started going crazy from full to empty. Now it's stuck right below half, driving or stopped. All other gauges work in dash. Guess it's time to get underneath and check out the ground then sending unit. Thanks
OK here's an update. The really strong glue I used to glue the red nozzle with the cap to the white tube failed. I'm now looking for a better plastic glue. Gonna try PVC glue. This part should never touch the Diesel fuel. Also gonna drill a small hone in the back top and use a gold tee so it...
Thanks all. I like the idea of more things for a strap to go through and not hitting the radiator when puling from the rear. That's my plan from now on.
I did this also. Then I used a really strong glue to glue the white neck to the red neck. Diesel will never touch it so it should work fine. Then I sent the one back to Amazon that I was going to use.
