What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

I got a lot done to my M1009 lately. Replaced all the weather stripping on both doors and the back window. Replaced both front parking light assemblies. Right now I'm working on replacing the dash pad. So far I removed the old one and painted the new one.

    New wheels for my M1009

I want to purchase new wheels for my M1009 but all this talk about backspacing has me a little confused. I really like these. Will they fit with no issues? http://www.procompusa.com/prodDetail.aspx?partNo=PCW152-5883F&catID=11&subCat=209&ptID=100021&plID=101828

LMC Truck Head light circuit mod

I just finished doing this mod to my M1009. The only thing I did different is I removed the grill and ran the wires through the front of the radiator for a cleaner look. My headlights are way brighter and no more hot fuse.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Went on a 4 wheel drive expedition through the Snowy Range mountains. It was about a 20 mile or so trip through the backcountry. The M1009 did excellent. The only damage I incurred was a broken antenna on some low tree branches.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Believe or not I converted my spin on fuel filter mod back to the original set up. The M1009 didn't seem to like the spin on filter for some reason. It had trouble starting and it acted like there was air getting into the fuel. Now it runs like a champ again.:cookoo:

Who says a m1009 cant HAUL

I pulled a 80s one ton dually Ford that broke down with my M1009 but it was on the ground not on a trailer, for about a mile to the Oreilys parking lot. That's the heaviest load I've had on it.
