The desert has been pretty hot lately, 2 tourists just died from heat exposure in Josuha Tree a few days ago, so if you can keep the driving at night thru the desert then all the better.

Not sure about the others yet, but I plan to be there. Have to replace the head gaskets on the M109 before then (sure sounds simple enough, but I need it to cool down a bit here first, wrencing on the truck in 110 degree heat isn't something I want to do).

Get rid of that tan and throw some camo on that thing and it would hide most of those sheetmetal imperfections.

Just in case you didn't get the important part of what eaw46 was saying....the vehicle will not be manageable on a freeway at speed and you will kill people! I understand your want to do this based on a coolness factor, but it will never get registered in this state and is far too dangerous...

No spray is going to make rubber tracks capable of not being absolutely destroyed on a freeway at 55mph. What you want to do is outside the capabilities of the platform. If it was as easy as you think it is, don't you recon you'd have seen several set up for this by now?

Glad to hear it worked out and you got her home safe. Definately sounds like a bad wheel cylinder. Easy to fix and not too expensive.

Frozen Fury is a pre-season hockey game between the LA Kings and the Colorado Avalance at the MGM in Las Vegas. It is a must do for any hockey fan, let alone a Kings fan. Basically 3-4 days of drunk hockey fans having a good time.

Would love to attend, but sadly the dates are the same for my annual trek to Vegas for Frozen Fury, which I never miss. Maybe next year the dates will work out (Frozen Fury can be a week earlier on occasion). Hope you all have a great time.

Sadly, power isn't cheap. I use the Vanner battery Equalizer to go from the 24V of the truck to a seperate 12V battery bank (4 deep cycle batteries). I also have 2 solar panels charging the batteries as well (so you don't have to have the truck running). Then any converter/inverter should...

Although the batteries are not sealed in a box, there is a vent there to expel any gas that might collect. And of course the entire box is vented as well.
