Lil update,
I took some time off this to work on my house and put the unit in storage. Just last week I had them bring it out and prep it for shipping. Had the M-59 30mm recievers deactivated as well.
So I'm expecting shipping within this or next month. Still looking for a tow if possible.
RE: Re: RE: Deuce starter removal?????????
Sweet! So there are studs and not bolts! Thank God!!!! (I can be joyfull about this right? :) )
So 7/8 wrench and 12pt 5/8" wrench.
Good deal, I'll pacjk them. How about socket wrench clearance? Can I use a socket or is this a standard wrench only...
Hey guys, tommorrow I'm gonna head out to my place and pull the starter on my M-35. Can someone give me a heads up on what tools I will need to get it off the bellhousing/side of engine/wherever.
I'd like specific wrech sizes, other tools that aid/are necessary, etc.
I'd really apprceiate this...
Re: RE: M211 home from Forestry-WHEW!
You must have never tried this before. It actually tows quite fine as long as the tires are aired up on the Deuce and the towbar is extended. The length of the extended towbar gives you leverage to pull the truck into the turn.
I towed my M-35 over 100...
I didn't, I rented a 2006 Dodge dually with a 6cyl cummins turbo deisel and slapped my pintle hitch in the class 3 hitch reciever and pulled it with a towbar.
I borrowed Mcinfantry's towbar (my gratitude to him once again! :D ) and towed that sucker back home. I averaged 55-65mph but for the...
Crud...:( Sorry bubba wish I could help you here but my Deuce isn't driveable yet. I rented a 1 ton dually pickup to tow mine back home from GL. You can tow it fairly easily with a dually.
I've been running into some serious problems here in LA with procuring WVO.
Up till now I have been doing well with collecting raw product from a few resturants here in my area but now this shark of a company has moved in and swallowed the whole school of my suppliers. I have enough...
Hey guys I need a little help with my turbo. I'm planning on rebuilding it in the near future and would like to know if anyone sels a rebuild/repair kit/individual parts for these with all necessary gakets and bearings. Are there any special tools that I'll need?
I'm not one of those guys who...
That'd be the way to go bubba [thumbzup] Cool thing too is that you'll notice the new glass is MUCH clearer than the used stuff plus I think it's safer too. It hasn't had dust and itsy bitsy rocks scratching against it.
Have you asked your nearest auto glass dealer/vendor?????
I had the local glass shop cut me out a new drivers side door glass out of tempered glass for around $30 ish. It's just a square roundabout.
Anyone available?????? The time is getting close and I need a haul from Galveston or Houston, TX to Branch, LA.
Really I just need a tow guys. A 5 ton should be able to yank this down the backroads for me.
We can disconnect the trucks before weigh stations and drive separately through. My...
I use a coarse or new media for undercarriage and thick areas.
For sheetmetal (body) I use a broken down media or a very fine grade of sand. Never NEVER hit the panel dead on with the blaster. There is where you begin warping panels.
If you want to cut the job down and do as little blasting...
