    Putting cold liquid in a hot engine is just BAD! It is a very good way to crack things, Like the block or heads.... With that being said my trucks never go over 200 degrees, But there are others on here who have had similar running temps.

    I once went to pick up a deuce from chambersburg, and after driving the 4 hours there they couldnt find the truck, after much confusion, they found it at another lot that was another 40 minutes farther ..... Needless to say,i wasnt real happy that day.

    Actually, the proper oil to use is OHT C-635 light hydraulic oil, I know for a fact that sprucemt surplus carries it and our own member EMR has a quantity of it also, This is what the TM calls for and it is what i use in all my airpacks

    You do know ,they are twist locks right? Or maybe they are froze up, but i wouldnt think all of them were..... try turning them a quarter turn and then pull.

    Actually, all the info i can find on GAA states that itis a lithium complex grease, not calcium based.....

    Is calcium based grease compatible with lithium based grease ? I also have some of the bentone based grease , Been using both to pack bearings, as i have GAA in quantity and about a gallon of the bentone based stuff, I like em both , But like the betone based stuff better for bearings,In my opinion.
