    I run mostly used ATF, sometimes straight, and sometimes mixed with offroad diesel or old boat gas. I filter the livin snot out of it, and has worked fine for the past two years in both of my deuce's

    Noise problem

    Probably just the seal in the keyway is bad, Which has now washed the grease out of the bearings, Repack the bearings and seal the keyway before you go to far with it!

    I used a barbed fitting and ferrules to fix mine. Of course i have a crimper for the air line ferrules. You can get all this stuff at McMaster-Carr!

    M35a2 keeps dying on me

    There is a bleeder on top of the secondary fuel filter housing also, but be careful not to over tighten it as it is kinda fragile.
