    Hopefully the pic below will help, while it is not a 6.2 injector. The intermediate plate and the nozzle below will mate together, if they are not flat they will leak.     Does it put out a light smoke at idle, if so it is called hazing. This generally means one or more injectors are leaking. If you rebuild your injectors you need to lap all the mating surfaces. You also need to have them pop tested by a local injector shop. You can adjust the PSI by using shims...

    The manufacture's VIN numbers match but the State reg number are not on my insurance paper work. They did not want the plate/reg #'s.

    Yes it was the bumper Unit numbers that my state used for my reg number. Numbers used in the same bumper spot. My VIN number was on the glovebox lid.

    They used the Unit markings on the tailgate as my reg number. Left them in the same spot, not on doors. Your State law may differ, I left the letters in black.
